It’s yummy Monday! This scrambled egg on garlic baguette is the perfect appetizer recipe for brunch or after work . Ingredients are easy to find at your local grocery store.
The ingredients list:
- 1 loaf Italian baguette (26inches)
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced and pounded
- 2 tbs. Chopped parsley
- 2 tbsMayonnaise
- 2 tbsChili sauce
- 2 tbsTomato sauce
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
Preheat oven to 180° Celcius. In a bowl, mix egg with salt and pepper. Cook the egg and make scramble and set aside.
Slice baguette diagonally, about 1 inch thick per slice. In a bowl, combine butter, chopped parsley and garlic. Mix evenly as a paste then spread the butter mixture on the baguette slices. Place scramble egg on top of each baguette, add mayonnaise, chili sauce and tomato sauce according to your liking. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Arrange the baguette slices in a baking tray. Bake for about 6 minute. Serve.
